Multilingual Notice
Ensuring your notices are accessible to non-English speakers.
🎯 Learning Objectives

- ▸ Implement multilingual notices
The Requirement
Section 5(3) states that the notice must be available in English or any language specified in the Eighth Schedule to the Constitution.
This means if you run a service in Tamil Nadu, you should ideally have the notice in Tamil. If you serve all of India, you should consider providing the notice in Hindi and English at a minimum.
Implementation
Use a language selector on your privacy policy page. Ensure the translation is accurate and culturally appropriate. Do not just use Google Translate; get it reviewed by a legal professional.
